Genome
A genome is the entire genetic code of an organism. The human genome project was an international research effort to determine the sequence of human genome and identify the genes that it contains. In humans, that's over 20,000 genes! The completed human sequence can now identify the location of each gene.
search for genes linked to different types of disease

Bioinformatics
It is the use of technology for the acquisition, management and analysis of biological information.
