Stamp Collecting

Did you know that stamp collecting is a popular hobby? Stamp collecting is one of the world's most popular hobbies. It is estimated that the number of collectors in the United States alone is 20 million. The first postage stamp was issued in Great Britain in 1840. It was called the Penny Black. It had a picture of Queen Victoria on it and had to be cut from the set of stamps with scissors.
