Chord Perfect Exercise

• Make an A chord

• Strum the all the strings for the chord (NOT the 6th string)

• Play each string of the chord individually and fix anything that is keeping the string from ringing clearly

• Play the chord again and look at your fingers and say A chord

• Do this 3 times

• Strum the all the strings for the chord (NOT the 5th & 6th string)

• Play each string of the chord individually and fix anything that is keeping the string from ringing clearly

• Play the chord again and look at your fingers and say D chord

• Do this 3 times

• Strum the all the strings for the chord

• Play each string of the chord individually and fix anything that is keeping the string from ringing clearly

• Play the chord again and look at your fingers and say E chord

• Do this 3 times

1 minute chord changes

• See how many chord changes between A D & E you can do in 1 minute

• Keep track of how many chord changes you get done

• Write down the chords you used (A, D & E) and how many changes you were able to get done, so you can see if you get faster next time
