* Nama seseorang termasuk singular (tunggal/satu), contoh:

AUXILIARY (KATA TAMBAHAN)

Jika Subjeknya adalah I, You, They, We, maka auxiliary yang digunakan adalah "do".

Sedangkan jika Subjeknya adalah He, She, It, maka auxiliary yang digunakan adalah "does".

NEGATIVE SENTENCES (-)

Pada negative sentences (kalimat negative), pada SUBJEK SINGULAR/TUNGGAL, setelah "auxiliary" dan "not" tidak ada lagi tambahan "s/es". Berbeda dengan kalimat positive sentences (kalimat positif) pada minggu lalu.

Contoh lain kalimat negatif:

- Adit does not read a book.

- She does not call her mother.

Mari kita ulas, Simple Present Tense mengekspresikan kegiatan sehari-hari atau sesuatu yang umum terjadi.

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE (NEGATIVE)

S + do/does + not + Verb 1 + O + Adv

S = SUBJECT

do = (untuk I, You, They, We)

does = (untuk He, She, It)

not = Tidak (menunjukkan bahwa ia adalah kalimat negatif)

Verb 1 = Kata kerja bentuk 1 (tanpa s/es)

O = Object

Adv = Adverb/kata keterangan

Examples:

- Nadya and Adit don't play UNO everyday.

- Riski does not play football every evening.
