Mom In Orbit is based on real events. Scientists have been sending rockets into space for decades in the attempt to learn more about our solar system. This comic is about the Mars Orbiter Mission(MOM), also called Mangalyan . It is India’s first-ever Mars probe and it continues to orbit Mars carrying a colour camera and four scientific instruments to study the surface and atmosphere of the planet

A satellite is a moon, planet or machine that orbits a planet or star. Artificial satellites are human-built objects orbiting the Earth and other planets in the Solar System.
