PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE
To form present simple tense, take an unchanged infinitive of the verb for all person pronouns, except the third person pronouns.
Add -s ending to the simple verb for the third-person singular pronouns. (Infinitive verb is a verb that describes an action or state of being in the simple present tense)

Example of Simple Tense Forms
I + verb
You + verb. Example: I drink a lot of juice.
We + verb. Example: You drink a lot of juice.
They + verb Example: They drink a lot of juice.
He/ She/ It + verb+ s
Example: He drinks a lot of fruit juice.
She drinks a lot of fruit juice.
It drinks a lot of fruit juice.

Continuation of Simple Tense Forms
However, in some cases, we need to add -es for he/she/it.
This happens when a verb has one of the listed endings: -ss, -ch, -sh, -s, -z, -x
Examples: She teaches children how to sing.
It hisses at the bees.
He pushes the heavy boxes.

Present Simple Tenses are basically used to describe the following things:
Facts and general truths.
Example: The sky is above.
Habits and repeated actions.
Example: I usually eat at 3:00 pm
Permanent situations.
He is the plumber who repairs our taps.
