What is Greatest Common Factor?

  • It is the largest common number among the factors of the given pairs of numbers.

  • We have different ways in getting the GCF of the given numbers: Listing Method, Factor Tree, and Continuous Division.

Sara has 16 red flowers and 24 yellow flowers. She wants to make bouquets with the same number of each color of flower in each bouquet. What is the greatest number of bouquets she can make?

  • Look for the common factors.
