For decades, fans have bathed pictures of him in milk. This practice is a ritual reserved for Hindu idols. It has caused controversy in the country of 1.3 billion people. When Shivaji Rao Gaekwad releases a new movie, fans spray up to 16,000 gallons of milk a day. Because of this, India has experienced milk shortages.
