V- (으) ㄹ 래요? V- (으) 래요

*(으) ㄹ 래요? is used to suggest something or to reply to a suggestion by stating the speaker's preference.

*Only VERBS (동사) can appear in this pattern.

VOWEL ( V- ㄹ 래요?/-ㄹ래요)

If the verb stem ends in a VOWEL, such as 가 (다), 보 (다) the ending is -ㄹ래요?

CONSONANT

If the verb stem ends in a consonant, such as 먹 (다), 앉 (다), the ending is 을래요?

치다

칠래요 (치+ㄹ 래요)

민수 와 같이 탁구를 칠래요?

Do you feel like playing ping-pong with Minsu?

연습하다

연습할래요 (연습하 + ㄹ 래요)

한국어 말하기를 연습할래요.

I feel like practicing speaking Korean.

먹다

먹을래요 (먹 +을 래요)

초콜릿 케이크를 먹을래요?

Do you feel like eating chocolate cake?
