Hamilton: The Musical

  • Hamilton is a book musical.

  • Book musicals have songs and dances fully integrated into an  overall plot that features character journeys that are designed to evoke emotional reactions from the audience.

  • Hamilton is based on a historical biography on Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow

  • Hamilton is a  hip hop musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda that follows the journey of one of  Americas founding fathers and George Washington’s right hand man.
