My transfer shows "completed", but I don't see the money in my debit card or bank account. Why?

The status of your withdrawal changes to 'Completed' once the money has exited the PayPal system.

Generally, withdrawals complete after 2 hours however, it may take 1-5 business days for the funds to process into your bank account, depending on individual bank processing timeframes.

Why is my bank transfer/withdrawal pending?

A withdrawal may be temporarily delayed if it is flagged by our internal security system for review. Each withdrawal made through our system is reviewed and it is determined whether or not a review should occur on the transaction at that time.

Possible reasons

• You may have received a higher-than-usual amount of money into your account recently

• You may have started selling more expensive items

• You may have started to sell different items

• You may have made changes to your account profile (such as adding a new address or a new bank account)

• You may have accessed your account differently recently (such as logging in from abroad)

• You may have received a higher-than-usual number of chargebacks, refunds, complaints or claims recently

• You may have reported unauthorized activity on your PayPal account recently
