How to count the total value of money?

Counting On

Counting on means that you start with the biggest number and then count up from there.

If all your coins have the same value, it is easier to get the total amount by skip counting.

Addition

We can also add up the money to get the total amount.

How to get the total value of peso and centavos?

First, count the 1-peso coins by 1s then count the centavos. Write the value of peso before the decimal point and the centavo after the decimal point
