- all take the article die in the nominative and accusative case, regardless of their gender

- there is no definite rule for the formation of plural nouns

-> you must learn the plural form when you learn a new noun!

How to know what the plural form of a noun looks like?

When you look up nouns at the end of each chapter and in the vocabulary section at the back of Deutsch Aktuell 1 textbook, you will notice that each noun is followed by a comma and an indication of its plural form.
