INTRODUCTION
Have two soccer balls.
Choose two students.
Ask them to bounce as shown on the two photos.
Choose two other students and do the same.

EXPLANATION
If Ann throws a ball down, it bounces straight back at him.
In the second picture, Ann throws a ball at an angle and it bounces off the floor at the same angle away from him.
When bouncing a ball, the angle the ball makes when it hits the ground looks the same as the angle it bounces off the ground again.
Explain
A ray – a line that light travels in.
Angle- the number of degrees between a horizontal and a line.

Light reflects off a mirror in a similar way.
Light reflects from a mirror at the same angle as it arrives.
The picture shows how light travels when it reflects with lines and arrows.
