Games
Games and equipment from home should not be allowed on school grounds. Often times, students feel that they shouldn’t have to share items they’ve brought from home, which can result in jealousy and fighting. In addition, many students haven’t been taught safety rules with certain types of equipment, which can result in hurting others. Also, some items, such as board games, can take a lot of time to set up and clean up. This can make them impractical for recess time.

Cell Phones
Have you seen the amount of people constantly looking at their cell phones? Many people today spend too much time on technology devices. Many people today have difficulty talking to a stranger, because they don’t have the communication skills. Families can also suffer from a lack of quality time, when the t.v. and phones aren’t turned off during dinner. We need to focus on, see, and communicate with the people around us.

Pursuing Your Passions
Do you have a few things that you really like to do? You should pursue the activities you really enjoy! Pursuing the things you love may help you to become better at them. It may also bring you great satisfaction. It can help you to make friends that have common interests and goals.
Many students wonder about what they want to be when they grow up. It’s important to pursue what you are passionate about and find a way to make money at it. It doesn’t have to be a career that you’ve ever heard anyone mention before, and it doesn’t have to be a popular career. Many students go to college to pursue something someone else has suggested to them. In the end, part of them end up quitting, because they were never really interested in that topic anyway.

Creativity
Where has creativity gone? Oftentimes in schools the main emphasis is on reading, math, science and social studies. However, creativity should be nurtured and emphasized too. Many students are gifted with talents to become fashion designers and painters. Some students may have the gift of designing buildings and some to design products. Schools should want to bring to the job market students who are thinkers, producers, and those who can create.

Mistakes
When you make a mistake, do you learn from it? Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s important to not repeat them. If we continue to make the same mistakes, we can take many bad turns in life. However, if we learn from our mistakes, and not repeat them, we can grow and mature into a better person. Writing down our mistakes and how we plan to not repeat them again, can help us remember what we need to do different in the future.
