I can create a diagram of the Moon orbiting the Earth in each lunar phase.
2
Moon Phases - The Main Phases
The full lunar cycle, from New Moon to the next New Moon, is 29.5 days
The New Moon 🌑 occurs on Day 0
The First Quarter Moon 🌓 occurs on Day 7
The Full Moon 🌕 occurs on Day 14
The Third Quarter Moon 🌗 occurs on Day 22

Moon Phases - Between the Main Phases
When the right side of the Moon is illuminated, it is said to be "waxing", or getting bigger
When the left side of the Moon is illuminated, it is said to be "waning", or getting smaller
Crescent moons can be waxing 🌒, ALL of the days between New Moon and First Quarter, or waning 🌘, ALL of the days between Third Quarter and New Moon.
Gibbous moons can be waxing 🌔, ALL of the days between First Quarter and Full Moon, or waning 🌖, ALL of the days between Full Moon and Third Quarter
