Support (sup-port)

• verb - action word

• support means to help someone

• synonyms for support are: help, assist, & aid

• "Lean against my arm and I will support you."

Respect (re-spect)

• verb - action word

• respect means to think highly of a person and show it

• synonyms for respect are: regard, admire

• "My students respect others and their differences."

Declare (de-clare)

• verb - action word

• declare means to say in a firm or official way

• synonyms for declare are: proclaim, announce

• "I declare, it was a very warm day!"

Contribute (con-trib-ute)

• verb - action word

• contribute means to give something to others to help

• synonyms for contribute are: give, provide, donate

• "If anyone can contribute hand sanitizer, it would be very helpful!"

Eager (ea-ger)

• adjective - describing word

• eager means really wanting to do something

• synonyms for eager are: excited

• "The dog was really eager to get inside to eat his food."

• noun - naming word; peson, place, thing, or idea

• reason means an explanation of why something happens

• synonyms for eager are: cause & grounds
