Cotton Gin/ Economic Boom

It would take an entire day to clean 1 pound of cotton. The cotton gin sped up the process of cleaning cotton.

I caused an economic boom and also an increase in slavery.

Interchangeable Parts

The concept of interchangeable parts increased mass production and the ability to maintain and repair machinery or a variety of devices such as guns.

If a part was broken, only that part would be rapiared or replaced as opposed to needing to purchase an entirely new machine.
