Hamilton's Influence
- Hamilton was the last respected Federalist and had a voice in big decisions for the party. This was just another event that would lead Burr to hate Hamilton enough to duel him.
- The 12th Amendment was passed in 1803 which made Presidents and V.P.s run on the same ticket to avoid this mess again.
