Plot Summary

  • Aslan announces that the group must camp somewhere else

  • At night, Susan and Lucy worry about Aslan and are unable to sleep

  • They follow him for a while, and when he realizes, he allows them to continue on with him for a bit

  • When Aslan tells the girls to turn back, they hide behind a bush instead to watch what will unfold

  • Many horrible creatures surround Aslan, mocking him, restraining him, shaving him, and kicking him

  • Aslan is bound to the stone table and the witch says that he has not saved Edmund because now no one will be able to stop her

  • Susan and Lucy close their eyes so they do not see Aslan killed
