Adjectives - A word that describes another word

• Tom is a CAREFUL driver.

• After I read the book, I felt a little SAD

• I love to feel the COOL breeze.

Adverbs - Tell us more about a verb. (Verb, verb, action word)

(Usually ends with -LY)

• Speak QUIETLY, please!

• Tom drove CAREFULLY.
