How I am taking attendance for remote learning

• The district’s attendance policy remains the same in the 2020-2021 school year.

• During remote learning, student attendance is determined by checking in with the teacher each day, and /or each teacher monitoring student work. Examples are “Do Now’s”, “Jamboards”, and Exit Tickets.   

• Parents must notify the teacher or principal if their child is unable to attend or participate in the lessons/assignments on any given day. 

Classroom Expectations & Procedures

• Chat box- Utilize the chat box only to respond when prompted by the teacher or if you have a question.

• Camera- Cameras should be on so your teachers and classmates can see you. You may use a virtual background if need be. 

• Mute- Mute your microphone when you are not speaking.

• Be Respectful of all people (yourself, teacher, classmates, etc)

• Be Responsible- Attend class everyday on time. Be prepared – bring all books and materials to class. Be on-task

• Be Resourceful Listen and follow directions the first time they are given. No Food, Drinks, Hats, Electronic Devices and No Swearing.

If You Are Absent

It is your responsibility to make-up any practice assignments or tests. You should contact me via Google Voice or email for information on what you missed in class while you are out. If you are absent the day an assessment is given, it is expected that you make-up the next day. Tests can only be made up after school or during lunch.

Participation Rubric

Each day you have Physical Education class you will be assessed in this manner. Along with homework, quizzes, and tests, your participation will be the main factor in determining your grade. This is the rubric for your participation in P.E. class.
