Act 5 - Scene 2

The Thanes gather and begin their march to Birnam Wood and then on to Macbeth's castle.

Why is this scene important? It allows the audience to see the strength of loyalty and the beginning of the Weird Sister's prophecy

Act 5 - Scene 3

Macbeth states that he isn't afraid of the approaching army because of what he knows of the prophecy. A Doctor comes to tell him of his wife's illness stating, "Therein the patient/ Must minister to himself."
