  • Cater to the needs of your audience as well as yours

  • Engage, entertain and excite your audience with facts, feelings and

  • For example: If you are promoting a new coffee flavour, provide samples to your audience so that they are able to be influenced and excited

Use Appropriate Language

Use appropriate and effective language to communicate your ideas

Choose relevant descriptive words for positive impact

Use the word 'Scrumptious' or 'Excellent'

rather than 'Nice' or 'Good'

Which can be vague and not convincing enough

Use the Active Voice to place more importance and focus on the subject

Example:

You need to taste it to believe it!

It has to be tasted by you for you to believe it.

Use definite or specific words to give your sentence more power, speed and emphasis

Example:

Avoid technical jargons and boombastic vocabulary as you may lose the audience's attention and interest.
