For Physical Education

Rules in P.E.

• BE RESPECTFUL to all people (classmates, teachers, coaches, custodians, etc.). Treat everyone with respect (even if they aren’t your favorite) – we are a family in this class!

• BE RESPECTFUL to equipment and classroom/gymnasium. Maintain proper care of gym and sport equipment.  Do not be in equipment closets without permission.

• Follow ALL Student Code of Conduct rules!

Classroom Procedures

• When the tardy bell rings to begin class, you should be in your designated seat, have your learning device out, and be checking into your attendance form within the Google Classroom.

• If you are late, you will need an entrance pass (for the first block) in order to enter the class!

  * 3 Tardies = 1 Absence

• ALL BACKPACKS and BAGS must be left in the locker room. The DOOR WILL BE LOCKED DURING CLASS.

• You may use your cell phone with EARBUDS/HEADPHONES ONLY FOR P.E. PURPOSES WHEN APPROVED BY COACH (NO LOUD MUSIC, UNLESS IT IS PLAYED BY THE TEACHER)! ANY UNAUTHORIZED SPEAKERS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CONFISCATED.

Expectations while being in P.E.

• DRESS OUT DAILY!

• EVERYONE MUST PARTICIPATE DAILY and FOLLOW ALL TEACHER DIRECTIONS!

• BE RESPECTFUL…NO VULGAR LANGUAGE, RACIAL SLURS, OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR!

• NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN GYM or LOCKER ROOM

• NO BOOTS or HARD SOLED SHOES ON GYM FLOOR!

• STAY OUT OF EQUIPMENT CLOSETS WITHOUT PERMISSION!
