In this lesson, you will be using the formula for the volume of a cone. A cone's volume is less than that of a cylinder with the same radius and height.


In fact, the cone's volume is one third the size of a cylinder with the same radius and height.

On the next slide, you will see the formula for the volume of a cone. It should look very similar to that of the cylinder, just multiplied by 1/3!
