what are advertisements?

Advertisements explain a particular product or brand in a persuasive way as to get people to buy it. There are many ways in which a company can persuade people. One of them is bandwagon. In this technique they say in the ad that everyone else is buying it so you should to and it works because people believe that others are liking the product so it will be good. Now lets learn a bit about the history of advertisements.

History of advertisements

Although advertisements started in 2000bc, The first printed ad we are aware of is in 1472 when William Caxton printed ads of a book and pasted them to a church door in England. Fast forward to 1704, The first-ever newspaper ad was published. Then in 1835, the first billboard ad has displayed a circus. This is how advertisement evolved through time.
