It is important to know what information each of these weather tools tell us. But for this quiz you will need to be able to see the information in the weather report that came from each of these tool. So you will find on the next slide each of the weather tools and key words that will help you find that information as you watch and listen to a weather report,

Thermometer - Temperature - the high or low for the day, warmer, colder, Chart with temperatures listed
Barometer - Air pressure, L - low, H - high - high pressure, lower pressure, big L or H on the the weather map, Stormy weather, nice weather
Hygrometer - Humidity - % humidity, dry air, moist air,
Weather Vane - wind direction - Wind from NW, NE, WNW, South, small wind arrows pointing a direction, winds from the north, south, east , west
Anemometer - wind speed - NW 10, Winds 10 mph, high winds, gusting at 40 mph, light winds, no wind
