Parts of a Sentence

• Sentences can be broke into smaller parts.

• The SUBJECT of a sentence is what or who the sentence is about.

• The PREDICATE of a sentence tells what happens in a sentence.

Examples - Subject and Predicate

• Mr. Norton recycles all of his cans and bottles.
