Reminder: Exponent Vocabulary

The power is the whole term.
The base is the number being multiplied
The exponent tells you how many times to multiply the base by itself

Example:  575^7   = 5 X 5 X 5 X 5 X 5 X 5 X 5

 x3x^3   = (x)(x)(x)
