Instructions

  • In Person: receives nametags

  • Online: Consider how to order the operation here (brain, foot, sensory neurons, motors neurons)

9

On liners

Which parts of your nervous system would be involved if you were trying to kick your foot?

10

Practice round

starting at the brain, we will be sending the signal to kick. You will transfer your signal by tapping the pencil of the neuron closest to you.

11

Can you go faster?

Our impulses travel at 268mph

12

Open Ended

How would the sensory neurons involve themselves?

13

I feel like there is a lot of ways to switch this up like racing impulses, then how could you work together to have sensory and motor responses involved? How could this be used to simulate picking up a book? Convert travel times to different units?

dance moves thing where i show you a move and u repeat it back and then you show the next prson a new move and so on
