In March 2020, the World Health Organization declared that COVID-19 had become a pandemic. This virus swept throughout the world, deeply affecting the lives of many. COVID-19: A Challenging Pandemic is an informational text that provides students with a detailed look at the causes of pandemics, both past and present, as well as strategies for containing and controlling COVID-19.
