How to make sentences negative

To make a sentence negative, you need to put ne...pas around your verb. This makes a negative verb sandwich!

Exemples

• Je parle anglais (I speak English) --> Je ne parle pas anglais (I don't speak English)

• Te manges une pizza (You are eating a pizza) --> Tu ne manges pas une pizza (You are not eating a pizza)

• Nous regardons la TV (We are watching TV)--> Nous ne regardons pas la TV (We are not watching TV)
