A Cave in France

  • In 1940, four boys in France stumbled upon cave drawings when looking for their lost dog with a lamp to light their way

  • They discovered cave paintings from 1500 B.C.

  • Technology: when scientists study the earliest people, the 'technology' those people used then were tools used to solve practical problems

  • Their technology was stone tools such as stone axes to cut wood to make fires, and bone needles to sew animal skins into clothing, blankets and tents, to keep them warm and dry!
