Your claim is your argument or your position on a topic.

The counterclaim is an argument that the opposing side might have against your claim.
You claim might be:
School lunch is awful.

On the other hand, some people believe schools lunch is good; some students are just ungrateful, picky, and spoilt.

Not at all. Remember you are not agreeing with the counterclaim. You must show how that counter claim is weak. You will give a rebuttal to show why the counter claim is not strong enough.

A rebuttal is when you say why the counterclaim is weak or incorrect
You will then find an evidence to support your rebuttal.
