What is a number line?

What is a number line? A number line is a straight line with numbers placed at equal intervals along its length.

A number line can be extended infinitely in any direction and is usually represented horizontally. 

How to locate decimal points on a number line???

You can use number sense to find the location of a fraction or a decimal on a number line.

A decimal's location on a number line tells how far that point is from 0.
