(Present Progressive)

The Present Continuous or Present Progressive is used for actions in process in the present time.

Structure

Subject pronoun + am/is/ are (Verb To Be) + The main verb + -ING

Ex.: Jane is drinking coffee

Negative form: 
Subject pronoun + (Negative form of To Be) + The main verb + -ING
Ex.: Jane is not drinking coffee

Question form:
(Question form of To Be) + Subject pronoun +  + The main verb + -ING
Ex. Is Jane drinking coffee?

Spelling Rules

To most verbs add -ing to the base form of the main verb
Ex.: Talk  $\longrightarrow$  Talking
