Income gap
An income gap is a gap in income between one group and another. Looked at in terms of the whole economy, the commonest income gap is that between 'rich' and 'poor', with the 'rich' usually being defined at the top 20% of income earners (the top quintile), and the poor the bottom 20% (bottom quintile.)
7
Why is a nation's economy important?
National economies are linked to the expanding global economy. Short-term benefits of economic growth seem obvious: The more businesses and nations that profit, the more individuals have jobs and resources and the higher their standards of living. More people with jobs and resources consume more goods and services.

EDUCATION
In order to develop as a country, countries will need to improve its literacy rate. One of the most important ways that countries like developing countries ex. Afghanistan can improve their economy, government, and society is by investing in education, especially the education of girls. (This is a great opportunity to talk about how lucky we are in America to have access to free public schools.)
