INTRODUCTION
A healthy school and community is a place where every individual learns to value their own health. The core elements of a healthy school and community environment include access to health care, healthy food and physical activity, clean air and water, and education on making healthy life choices. In a healthy school, students learn through lessons and by example to value their own health and that of their environment. Performing the knowledge they learn from a school is supposed to be practiced in their own community. This module will bring out learners' creativeness and enthusiasm to do their involvement in the pursuit of sustaining and keeping school and community healthy places to live in.

HOW WILL WE PROPERLY DISPOSE THIS WASTE?
Some waste will eventually rot, but not all, and in this process, it may smell, or generate methane gas, which is explosive and contributes to the greenhouse effect. Leach ate products as waste decomposes may cause pollution. Badly managed landfill sites may attract vermin or cause litter.

LIQUID WASTE
is commonly found both in households as well as in industries. This waste includes dirty water, organic liquids, wash water, waste detergents, and even rainwater.

SOLID RUBBISH
include a variety of items found in the household along with industrial and commercial locations. This may include plastic wastes, paper and card wastes, tins and metals, and ceramics and glass.

ORGANIC WASTE
is another common household waste. This may include food wastes, garden waste, manure waste.

RECYCLABLE RUBBISH
Includes all waste items that can be converted into products that can be used again such as paper, metals, furniture, and organic waste.

HAZARDOUS RUBBISH
Waste that includes all types of rubbish that are flammable, toxic, corrosive, and reactive.

is the practice of using the material several times in its current form. It saves the energy used in the production of materials. It is one way of
reducing huge amount of waste being disposed of.

Recycle
waste means making another useful item out of waste material. These wastes are no longer suitable for their primary purpose. It prevents the waste of potential materials and reduces the consumption of new materials.
