Evaluating Algebraic Expressions

I can evaluate an algebraic expression to find its value.

Most common mistake

When plugging in, you do not use parenthesis. This can easily confuse the expression. For instance if the problem is 2xy and x=3 and y=4, without parenthesis, plugged in 2xy= 234. The problem with that is that the value is not the number 234 rather it is 2(3)(4) --> 2 times 3 times 4.
