Greece is a wonderful country. It is full of many interesting places. Many are very old and very big. Some of Greece's most interesting places are huge old buildings. They were build thousands of years ago.

Greece is a peninsula. It is in Southern Europe. What is a peninsula? A peninsula is a part of land that has water on three sides. The Aegean, Mediterranean, and Ionian Seas surround Greece. Many islands are part of Greece. Try to imagine this: There are 1,400 islands around Greece!! Some are big like Peloponnesus. Many islands are tiny.
