Fraccions

A fraction is a number, which is obtained from dividing an integer equally. For example when we say a quarter of the cake, we are dividing the cake into four parts and consider one of them

Ej. $\frac{12}{30\ }$  are girls y  $\frac{18}{30\ }$  are boys.

Numerator 

The part of a fraction that is above the line. Ex.  $\frac{30}{29}$  30 is the numertor.

Denominator

 $\frac{30}{29}$  The part of the fraction that's below the line. 29 is the denominator.

 $-$  A line that is used to separate the numerator from the denominator.

Fraction of its own

Fraction that the numerator is less than the denominator. $\frac{5}{10}$  

Improper Fraction

 Is the one in which the numerator is greater than the denominator.  $\frac{25}{24}$  

Eternal Fraction

 $\frac{20}{20}$  Fraction in which the numerator is the same as the denominator.

Equivalent Fractions

 Two or more than two fractions are said to be equal if both results are the same.

Mixed Number

A number consisting of an integer and a proper fraction.
