Today you will be introduced to regular present tense verb conjugations and it's uses. Take notes over the slides and complete the practice questions.

El Presente Indicativo

• There are 3 types of verbs: 

• ALL verbs end in either -AR, -ER, OR -IR when in the infinitive

• What is an infinitive?

• A verb before it has been conjugated. It always ends in -AR, -ER or -IR and means "to ____" in English.

• An infinitive does not tell us who does the action or when

• English examples: to talk, to walk, to run, to play, to dance

• Spanish examples: hablar, vivir, comer, beber, jugar, escribir
