The diagram shows the heights of a plant at the end of each of 3 weeks. After Week 1, the plant is 3/10 meter tall. Another way to represent the height is 0.3 meter. Both 3/10 and 0.3 can be read as three tenths. They represent 3 parts of 10 equal parts of a whole.
