Type of Sentences- Simple Sentences

只有一个subject(主语/主角) 和 一个 verb(动作):

a. The man is a police.

b. Nadira rides her bicycle happily.

c. Yong Jun and Yeong Horng play together in the mud.

Type of Sentences- Simple Sentences

Identify the subject and verbs.

1. I am hungry

2. He lives in Penang.

3. The flowers are red.

4. They come here often.

5. I should give this to you.

Type of Sentences- Compound Sentences

由两句或多句形成的。会用"and", "or", "but", "so" or "because"

Exercise:

1. Jamil ate lunch after school. Jamil rested after school.

2. Do you read in your free time? Do you draw in your free time?

3. He wants to buy a doughnut. He forgets to bring his money.

4. I missed the bus. I had to walk home.

5. She looks worried. She cannot find her purse.

For showing result(結果):

1. consequently : He was caught littering and was consequently sentenced to do community service for 2 weeks.

2. thus : He switched off his phone and thus we were unable to contact him.
