This is how you do it

Part 1

Learning Objectives:

- We describe how something is done through a sequence of steps called procedure.

- For example, let's read this recipe of how to cook apple pudding.

Another Sample of Recipe

3 things to say in a procedure:

1. Goal/aim (tujuan)

2. Materials/ingredients (bahan)

3. Steps/methods (langkah)

The types of language used in a recipe:

1. Imperative sentences (kalimat perintah)-- e.g. "put some tea".

2. Action verbs,e.g. "put", "add".

3. Sequence adverbs., e.g. first, then, next.

4. Quantity/number, e.g. 45 gram, 1 tablespoon.
