Fungus

• Eukaryotic

• Absorb nutrients from other organisms (do not eat like animals and do not go through photosynthesis like plants)

• Some single-celled, some multi-celled

Protozoa

• Eukaryotic

• Mostly Single-Celled

• Animal-like protist: eat other organisms like animals

Algae

• Eukaryotic

• Mostly single-celled

• Plant-like protist: goes through photosynthesis to make its own food like plants

Virus

• Debate over whether it is classified as living - missing certain parts to be classified as a cell

• It only exists if it has a living host in which to reproduce
