Personal Area Network (PAN)?
16
Personal Area Network (PAN) is the computer network that connects computers/devices within the range of an individual person.
17
connects electronic devices within a user's immediate area.
range from a few centimetres to a few meters.
E.g.: a desktop computer, a wireless mouse, & wireless headphones can all be connected to each other, but only the computer can connect directly to the Internet.

Reorder
Reorder the following network type based on their capacity of network coverage from the largest to the smallest.
The first one in the order is the largest network coverage.

Encryption is a way of scrambling data so that only authorized parties can understand the information. In technical terms, it is the process of converting human-readable plaintext to incomprehensible text, also known as ciphertext.

Device Posture Check (DPC)
Trusted Devices
A procedure or a piece of software that performs checks on connecting devices.
E.g.: Allow network access from devices that have specific antivirus software(opens in new tab), possess a particular authorization file, have an encrypted hard drive, or other suitable certificates that are underlined by the administrator
After this, the devices that are allowed access to the network are classed as trusted devices

Why Network Topology is important?
An essential role in how well your network functions.
Choosing the right topology for your company’s operational model can increase performance while making it easier to locate faults, troubleshoot errors, and more effectively allocate resources across the network to ensure optimal network health
A streamlined and properly managed network topology can increase energy and data efficiency, which can in turn help to reduce operational and maintenance costs.

Two Categories Network Topology
Physical:
The physical network topology refers to the actual connections (wires, cables, etc.) of how the network is arranged. Setup, maintenance, and provisioning tasks require insight into the physical network.
Logical:
The logical network topology is a higher-level idea of how the network is set up, including which nodes connect to each other and in which ways, as well as how data is transmitted through the network. Logical network topology includes any virtual and cloud resources.

A terminator is added at ends of the central cable, to prevent bouncing of signals which can cause interference.
46

48
A tree topology is also known as a star bus topology. It incorporates elements of both a bus topology and a star topology.
If the main cable (trunk) between the two star topology networks failed, those networks would be unable to communicate with each other. However, computers on the same star topology would still be able to communicate.
49
50
Since data flows in one direction, the chance of a packet collision is reduced
If one device fails, the entire network is impacted
The data from the transmitting node to the destination is transmitted by using tokens. So this topology is also called token ring topology.
51
The secondary ring provides redundancy in case of a failure in first ring, and also can serve as an additional data path.
Main advantage of dual ring topology over traditional ring topology is that dual ring topology provides redundant paths in networks.
Redundant paths provide more stability and security in networks.
