Everybody knows that we are in the general quarantine because of the corona virus pandemic. People have different feelings about this. Some people say that NCR should be placed under a more relaxed quarantine or General Quarantine so more businesses will be open and our economy can move on. Others say that government should still impose a stricter quarantine because people tend to be complacent believing that the virus is already contained. How do you feel about this?

Let’s read these sentences.


a) In my opinion, this pandemic has made families closer because they spend more time at home.

b) I don’t agree with you that the government has not done well in curbing the spread of the virus.


All the above sentences are normal declarations used to convey a message, thought, information etc. They don’t ask any question neither do they express any strong emotion.

These sentences are called declarative sentence. These sentences end in a period.
