Preposition

• A word that shows the relation between a noun or a pronoun to other words in a sentence.

• It shows us directions and positions.

• It helps us tell time and figure out where we are with directions.

• in is used for room, building, street, town, country, book, paper, car, taxi,picture, and world.

• Example:

• The boy is in the red car.

on is used to mean on top of a place.

• Example:

• The mouse is on the box.

at is used to mean next to or by an object; used for table, events, movies, school and others.

• Example:

• Lara is at the hill.

below means lower than something else but above the ground.

• Example:

• The cat is below the bird.
